Clive Barker's Undying [nostalgia]
I have an unstoppable hunger for old games!
So this too has been digested!
Undying is a game developed in 2001 with the Unreal Engine by EA with the story written by Clive Barker.
In the game you have to help Patrick Galloway in his adventure with strange weapons and equally strange spells to help his friend, among twists, creepy monsters and lugubrious environments.

CAD with LEGO: MLcad + LDraw
I'm building a Lego pc case and I need some help with the parts/building project and I found this:
MLCad only and Website:
http://mlcad.lm-software.com/
MLCad + LDraw libraries (if you don't have LD... use this):
http://media.peeron.com/ldraw/LDraw_AIOI_2012-01_setup_32bit_v2.zip
Doubts:
- The melting point of Lego bricks (I read 100°C somewhere)
- The hot plastic will make the air healthier?
- Where to order kilos and kilos of bricks?
- Grounding? (Pc cases are metal)
- Electric/magnetic radiations?
- I'm crazy?

Ultra smartphones
Have you seen the presentation of the new Samsung Galaxy S4?
Yes, it is interesting.
But this increase in hardware on smartphones does not seem "too much"?
I think so, but at least is the excellent research & development that can bring progress in all technologies (more capacious batteries, more power, less consumption)

Finally Twitter for Windows 8
What a waste of space.
Download:
http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-US/app/twitter/8289549f-9bae-4d44-9a5c-63d9c3a79f35
But IMHO only TweetDeck is a good Twitter client with its multi-column approach (general timeline, interactions, tweets of your preferred users, etc...)

Virtual Reality
What happened to the Virtual Reality so often dreamed in the 80's and 90's?
What do we have today? Especially in the homes of consumers?
Sony Move: ok, but it seems very primitive
Nintendo Wiimote: Like Move, more or less
MS Kinect: Good, detects motion, objects (with nothing in your hands) and "textures" (pictures).
But none of these immerses the player / user in a virtual world as we thought then.
What is missing? The classic goggles to wear, maybe with orientation sensors to direct the viewport (the view of the game, the camera in the 3D environment) and then show to the player what he should see.
The next Xbox will have, as an accessory, a projector to project the game on the walls of your room (maybe using the Kinect to see where you're looking at?). Is it considered AR (augmented reality) or VR?
We'll see ...
Nope, Google Glass is not VR imho, but AR like Google Googles in your ... googles.
What do you think? What's the next step? What's the true VR?
