Time for: Mirror's Edge

Too new for a "nostalgia" post? Too new for a "old games" tag? Maybe.

But I don't care.
I'm playing Mirror's Edge and I love its graphic style.

Call of Cthulhu: blue lights / devil's reef / boat bug

If in the boat level you can't see blue lights to shoot to them... there is a quick solution.

Call of Cthulhu (2005) - The true horror is coming! #1

I pause for a while Hitman (see old post).

A friend of mine recommended me a title: Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth (2005).
Yep, it's based on some stories by H.P. Lovecraft.
I take it, I install it, I play it.

WTF! It's wonderful! I got a 40-minute game and it seems spectacular. This "old" pearl surely deserves.

The game can really hit the player visually and emotionally.
Many scenes are almost like a movie and you are the protagonist and ambient sounds play a key role.

The plot really attracts me.

This is the beginning of the game, where you get called in the course of negotiations with a cult.

And the sect has collected many pictures of you, why?

This little girl is creepy, but don't worry ... or not?

The true horror is coming, but some passages are really frustrating and release the blasphemy (like when you are in the van and sanity is waning ...)

[Pseudo-nostalgia] Assassin's Creed (waiting for 2° & 3° chapters)

I picked up Assassin's Creed (the first one) from my old savegames and these days I finished it.

My capture software does not work with the DX10 version of the game ... I know These are the screens from the game DX9 version.

So I remember that I have done and what happens at the end: P

Now I should recover all the flags, kill the remaining Templars ... no, I do not know, I do not really want.

I'd better get to try Assassin's Creed II ...

[Nostalgia] Hitman.... the first Hitman

In these days the new chapter of the Hitman saga is out! Hitman: Absolution is a good game, but all started from Hitman: Codename 47 (2000)!

So I said "why do not reinstall it?"

I never finished this game ... Let's see if this time ...

Ok, HeavyMetal:F.A.K.K.2 completed (+ nude patch)

This game is absolutely awesome... If you never played this game, DO IT.
Activate the F5-F6 button for quick save/quick load: some locations are insane.

Open your console with ~ or \ (the keyboard button near TAB and 1) and write:

\save_game NAME

\load_game NAME

Put -DEVMODE in the end of your path (in the shortcut) and enjoy new commands:

F1: 1°/3° person
F2: move to next checkpoint
F3: new spawn point
F4: no clip
F9: save current position (fast save)
F10: load current position (fast load)
F11: see more debug information


P: all weapon in your inventary
O: set 999 bullets in the selected weapon

backspace: god mode
equals: increase speed
minus: decrease speed
F5: set default speed

Silent Hill 3 follows the plot of the first chapter, it's a great game.

Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe

OpenTTD is the open version of Transport Tycoon Deluxe, you can download it from:

In this game you are a transport company and your business is build commercial paths (roads, etc) and manage the transport of goods/materials in the map with different vehicles (trucks, vans, boats, etc...).
The learning curve is a bit hard if your are a "Angry Birds" player :-P

Download the zip, extract, run the exe, in the main screen go to "online content" and download these packets:
